Prepare the RX Radio

  1. Start out with a "sample" codeplug on your newly acquired radios. These "sample" codeplugs are provided by Motorola and ensure that any existing settings that may have been changed are reset to their manufacturer provided defaults.
    1. Note: Sample codeplugs can be found in the Professional CPS installation directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\Motorola\Professional Radio CPS R06.12.05\Samples

Program The RX Radio

Note: This section is only going to showcase settings changed from the "sample" codeplug previously written to the radio. If a setting is not mentioned, it was not changed. Any frequency pairs, or channel spacing are based on my usage needs, TX: 469.000 MHz & RX: 464.000 MHz (narrowbanded).
